So, we will start, as all good stories do, at the beginning.The installation was straight forward, simply attach a bracket to the ceiling box. That part was easy. The part that I struggled with was, and this may have been my fault, I did not see a place on that bracket to let the ceiling fan hang while I wired it. Other ceiling fans that I have installed have a hook to allow you to hang the engine from (in this case, the entire fan assembly) while you are performing the wiring. This turned out to be a little bit of a pain, but I eventually got it done.The fan itself is glorious. On low, in my small office, it provides plenty of air movement. Having four lights provides a great deal of light, and I am going to need to get 40W equivalent bulbs instead of the 60W - it is just too bright for my liking, so keep in mind that four lights are on the fan, size your bulbs accordingly. Speaking of the lights, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the arms that hold the lights are adjustable. I thought it a nice touch to be able to move them slightly to keep the bulbs centered.The fan is a little noisy, but not horrible. About the same as a small metal fan that I was using in the room on the floor. This is definitely not as quiet as a larger 44" or 52" fan which I also have in my house.Overall, I would recommend this ceiling fan.Fantastic quality. Stylish , quiet motor , easy to install and the remote makes it easy to switch between fan speeds.( I keep mine on low and it stirs up plenty of air in my breakfast nook. )Used it in our kitchen. Works well. Puts out a lot of air.Good qualityI bought 2 of these cage fans for my 1100sq ft house with open floor plan and 12 ft peak/sloped ceiling . I was tired of the blade fans wanted something different and I wanted to change the chandelier for a ceiling fan. these were the perfect fit. I like the design of the cage and the flat black color. Even though i have tall ceilings i can feel the air from the fan while sitting on the couch. When I unboxed the fans one was missing a cover plate from the bottom of the fan , this did not effect function so I put them up and contacted the company that made the fans . They responded in under 24 hrs and shipped a new cover that arrived in under 2 wks .Love the fan.... Except it was missing the "HAIRPIN CLIP"... fortunately I was able to run out & get one.Getting lots of compliments. Fits right into our small restroom.It’s so pretty! The fan works perfect. Will be buying another one here very soonThis fan has 8 blades, which is more than any other fans in the price range. Despite the small size of the fan, I can't believe how much air it moves! Very powerful motor. It cools and moves air much better than our other full size traditional ceiling fans. I would definitely buy this again!
