It is exactly what it says it is. I use it in my large tent and it keeps the air moving shockingly well.The battery lasts for quite a long time before needing to be recharged. I usually take a small battery bank with me camping and charge up my things when they're not in use, which, in the case of the fan it gets used a ton! It hasn't let me down yet!My only tiny tiny gripe is that I really wish that they would make a unit like this with a light in it. I would gladly pay a premium to have a decent fan / light combo that is rechargeable and with the quality of this product... but anyways... for a fan it is fantastic!The strongest mode is fantastic at ventilating tents. It is slightly more expensive than others but has a sleeker design and honestly you want a product that you can get a few years out of. This is that product. You won’t be disappointed. :)I wish this had better battery life. I don’t recommendOrdered this fan- based on the reviews and was so excited to set it up.Only to find out that the blades itself wouldn’t spin.I put in a replacement order and it was literally at my door in less than a week!& guess what! The reviews were sooo right!This fan is so quiet and awesome!I want to order more!I'm about to purchase another one of these to have on both sides of our tent. Best tent camping fan ever.This fan drew my attention because it was lightweight, easy to pack, and could be recharged instead of always having to buy batteries. It clips in to the top of the tent easily and I love the remote control. The one thing I find odd is that the remote won't turn the fan on the first time. You have to turn it on at the device, sort of like waking it up, and then the remote will function to turn it off/on, change the speed or set the timer.The fan itself is super quiet and has decent fan strength, but this fan won't cut it when it's truly hot inside your tent. I set it up during 85-90 degree weather and it was barely creating a breeze inside the tent. After a long time, it would eventually start to circulate the air better, but it was a tough job. This fan is probably best suited for lighter camping.Decent little fan. Blows a good amount of air and the battery life is good. I dock points for small vibration when running, but this isn't a big issue if you hang it from something that can absorb it like a string. The fan can also not be reversed to blow air up (and out of a tent, for example). It is also quite dangerous and should be kept away from children because anytime I accidently touched the spinning blades, it drew blood and hurt like a son of a gun. With a battery as big as 8000mah, It really should have the ability to charge devices in case of an emergency for the price you pay.Used this for two camping trips this summer and it was not bad. Good size battery and the remote was absolutely handly. Definitely better than most of the crap you see in major retailers. But to truely make this product amazing would require two things:1. LED lights you can turn on or off.2. Optional longer blades for a wider area of circulation.We used this in the dining tent with a near 9ft ceailing and you can barely feel it on high when the weather is 30+ celsius outside. We ended up lowering it using cordage and that helped.After transferring it to the 8 person tent, only the two people directly underneath the fan can feel it, no matter how high or low you secure it. I suppose it could work if everyone was spooning but that wasn't going to happen.Realistically, it's more like a personal fan than something made specifically to circulate air for a large space.Magnífico aparato en todos los sentidos!! Gracias a este ventilador conseguí que dormir en el interior de mi furgoneta camper fuera mucho más cómodo en las noches calurosas de verano. Funciona genial, tiene bastante potencia y la batería dura muchísimo!! Además, es muy compacto, se carga rápido, funciona conectado también con el cable (es decir, si se queda sin batería no hay que esperar a que se cargue) y el mando a distancia lo hace ya perfecto. Muy recomendable.
