low noise levelI have installed the Festa Maverick. This fan is a high volume, low suction pressure fan that may work on a sealed cover sump pit, it will create a maximum suction of around 1.5" .You need to determine where the gas is coming from, if you're lucky it's coming only from your sump pit.Very quiet almost can't hear it running. Powerful as wellReplaced my old, noisy radon fan that had a bad bearing and howled like an angry animal. This AMG purrs. I don't remember the last time my back yard was so quiet. I can leave my windows open!We have a number of properties, each with radon mitigation fans installed. We thought it would be a good idea to have one on the shelf in case an already-installed fan failed. On unpacking this, it was clear that it was well packaged and well constructed, with a very heavy gauge plastic exterior and well-insulated AC connection point. On trying it out prior to any installation, we were struck by how quietly the fan runs. This is perfect for locations where the fan has to sit in close proximity to a window. Sizing was as promised and it will be a direct replacement for our existing fans - we might even go ahead and swap one just to reduce the noise factor. The construction date is marked on the fan. A unit received 9/15/22 was manufactured 8/11/22 so these aren't sitting around in a warehouse getting old before you get them. Installation instructions are minimal, and the assumption is that this will be installed by a radon installer rather than a homeowner; still, with so many folks doing their own home construction work, and particularly if they're simply going to replace a fan rather than install an entire remediation system, it would be nice to have a little more instruction present. That said, this is pretty straightforward for a handy homeowner with a system already in place.Working as a radon mitigator for 5 years, I saw all kinds of fans in operation. Based on my experience, there are no radon fans that even come close to the Festa Radon fans. They are incredible reliable, ACTUALLY water-tight and I’ve never seen one have issues with overheating like I’ve seen with other manufacturers. Customer Service was excellent, the prices (all things included) were cheaper. Excellent company. Excellent product, Excellent company!This fan was a replacement and it fit with no issues or drama. It runs really quiet. I would buy again. 5 STARSI have been in the Radon Mitigation for 18 years and my company uses Festa's fan exclusively! Each fan in Festa's product line works well for every unique and different radon situations. The Legend is a well-rounded performing fan for many radon applications and the Maverick is an outstanding fan for new construction, pre piped homes. Every fan is simple to install and/or replace, the electrical connections are easy and the hassle-free warranty makes these fans the best! I highly recommend these fans!My previous one failed and when looking for a new one, I wanted a quality product and a company who stands behind it. You can install these with complete confidence.
