This puller will absolutely save you time (and money) during repairs by easily pulling fins off of motors. Easy to use. Word to the wise; if you struggle to pull fins off, they need a new motor and fins entirely.My blower motor for the HVAC unit had a bearing go bad.Had to replace the motor.This hub puller made the job quick and simple.Item was extremely well made, very stout and heavy.Never attempt to pound the motor out with a drift, as you may damage the end of the motor shaft mushrooming it which will make getting the wheel off the motor a nightmare.You should only use a hub puller.This one did the job.For me Amazon had same day delivery which was great as the temperatures outside was in the 90's....I struggled for a day trying to remove a rusty motor shaft from a squirrel fan with no success. I got this tool and within 5 minutes it came right out. It's worth every penny I paid for it. Tip; so the tip of the bolt does not travel on the shaft, the instruction suggest that you use a center punch to make an indentation on the end of the shaft. I took it one step further and also drilled a small hole. It worked like a charm, the bolt locked right into place and didn't travel at all.Does the job, bought mainly to pull blower wheels off furnaces. Worked like a charm. For the price and what it does I would recommend itIt worked well, be careful to make sure the bolt is ligned up correctly before you screw in to blower motor.Glad I bought this tool my fan blade was on super tight this tool saves alot of time and prevents damage to the fan bladeIt does the work!!Great product, never knew they had something like this, saves beating the shaft out of the blade.Such an upgrade from the monkey business I'd do before. Gripped the hub surprisingly well. I'm sure to be using this a bunch from now on.
